Dry needling is a technique used to treat myofascial trigger points, small contractions within the muscle that generate localized or radiating pain.

Its goal is to deactivate these points of tension and restore normal muscle tissue function.

When the needle stimulates the trigger point, a local response occurs that promotes relaxation, improves circulation, and reduces neuromuscular irritation.

About the Session
Personalized Assessment and Treatment
The session begins with a complete muscular and postural assessment, where we identify the affected muscles and the possible biomechanical causes of the pain.
During the treatment, the therapist uses very fine, sterile needles to access the trigger point and release muscle tension. The procedure may cause a brief reflex contraction (local twitch response), a sign that the muscle is releasing.
Afterward, complementary techniques such as stretching, local heat, or specific exercises are applied to maintain the therapeutic effect.
In addition, we conduct an initial personalized consultation to determine if dry needling is the most appropriate treatment, or if it would be better to combine it with other techniques such as osteopathy or physiotherapy.

Suitable for
Dry needling can be of great help in multiple muscle dysfunctions and pains of myofascial origin, both in athletes and in people with tension accumulated from stress or physical work.
Main Benefits
Dry needling offers deep and lasting muscle recovery, helping the body release accumulated tension and restore its functional balance.
